The Language Development Lab is a research group in the Department of Psychology on the Davie campus of Florida Atlantic University, directed by Dr. Erika Hoff. The focus of our research is on the processes of early monolingual and bilingual development. We are currently studying children who hear English, Spanish, or both English and Spanish at home. We are studying their language development from the age of 2 ½ to 5 years.

If you have a child between 24 and 30 months (2 to 2½ years) who hears Spanish at home and at least one parent was born in a Spanish-speaking country, we would like to invite you to participate in our study.
