General Research Interests:

My laboratory investigates early perceptual and cognitive development in infancy and early childhood. Current projects investigate the development of intersensory perception, temporal processing, sequence perception and learning, and multisensory perceptual narrowing. Our empirical work is guided by a developmental/epigenetic systems perspective that considers experience to play a key role in the developmental emergence of perceptual and cognitive skills.
